INTERNAL AUDIT

In contrast to Controlling, internal audit is involved with tasks concerning the inspection of internal and extern rules and regulations.

Only when the firm has reached a certain size is it really economically justified to delegate these tasks to members of one's own staff. As long as the firm is small and the risks can be kept within limits, these tasks are usually taken over by the management itself in a sort of 'personal union'.

However, having reached a certain size, you will dind it necessary to get your own separate internal auditing department and then the necessity also arises of deciding on the scope and activities of this department.

We, at GKConsult, will be glad to help you with the design and installation of your new department of internal auditing.

If it is not dost-effective for you at the moment to have your own, separate staff for these activities, and if your management also has no free capacity for doing this work in a satisfactory way, it is possible to delegate to us. We will then agree on a list of activities and a timetable with you, carry out the tasks to your satisfaction and report regularly to you on the progress made.
